Auspicious & Inauspicious houses of a horoscope in astrology are those zodiac houses which are supposed to give favorable & unfavorable results respectively; Here, all the twelve zodiac houses will be considered; Some of them are auspicious and some others are inauspicious; We will discuss about these houses in detail in the following paragraphs;

Auspicious houses of a horoscope are those houses which are eligible to give favorable results to the native; From the Natural Zodiac of 12 houses given above, we will indicate which of them is auspicious;

• In vedic astrology, trikona houses namely 1st, 5th & 9th houses are said to be the most auspicious bhavas or houses; Out of these three houses, 5th & 9th houses are said to be key houses and their lords are known as key planets; Here the term ‘key’ implies such a device which opens the lock; Thus, in any horoscope, lords of 5th & 9th houses have the potential to help the native in unlocking his otherwise locked destiny; Also, 9th house is said to be the strongest trikona; 5th house being second strongest and 1st house being third strongest in decreasing order;
