  1. Friends, Jupiter is said to be the most natural benefic planet in astrology. If it is a functional benefic planet of a horoscope, it confers remarkably auspicious results. If it is a functional malefic planet of a horoscope, there becomes significant decrease in the auspicious results to be conferred by it and rather it gives adverse results.
A “functional benefic” planet means that it is lord of auspicious houses and also it is occupant of an auspicious house. Its conjunction with and/or aspect from a benefic planet on it enhances its capacity manyfold to give more auspicious and favorable results. On the contrary, a “functional malefic” planet means that it is lord of inauspicious houses and also it is occupant of an inauspicious house. Its conjunction with and/or aspect from a malefic planet on it enhances its capacity manyfold to give more inauspicious and unfavorable results.
