• Successful completion of 2-year course of Jyotishacharya with first division from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi;
• MBA (HR) with first division from IGNOU, Delhi;
• MA (Hindi) with first division from IGNOU, Delhi;

• I don’t know the reason, may be a horoscopic promise, since the very beginning of my career in Delhi, I often got tempted towards studying occult sciences.

Profession as Junior & Senior Translation Officer

• Earlier, as stated in ‘Astrologist Dilip Nigam’s Education‘ section above, I had made my entry into the first government job in 1990. I served Ministry of Human Resource Development for about 2 years as my first posting. Then I applied and also qualified an All-India Open (Direct Entry) Exam for the post of Senior Translator (later on re-designated as Senior Translation Officer) with All-India ranking number one (01);
• Consequently, I was posted as a Senior Translation Officer in Ministry of Culture, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi with effect from 5th January, 1994;
• Since then, I worked in the same capacity in Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Women & Child Development and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi respectively till 23rd July, 2007;

Profession as an Assistant Director

• Thereafter, I was promoted and posted as an Assistant Director in Ministry of Information & Broadcasting with effect from 24th July, 2007;
• Since then I worked in the same capacity in Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi till 3rd November, 2016 and thereafter in Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Parivahan Bhawan, New Delhi till 3rd October, 2019;

Profession as a Deputy Director

• Thereafter, I was promoted and posted as a Deputy Director in Ministry of External Affairs, South Block, New Delhi with effect from 4th October, 2019;
• After serving Ministry of External Affairs merely for 10 months, I was, due to outbreak of covid-19 epidemic, transferred in the same capacity to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi;
• After serving Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for about 2 years, I attained the age of superannuation on 30th September, 2022 and thus bade adieu to the government job;
• In fact, at the time of my entry into the cadre of Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS), I was told by my superiors that I will finally retire/superannuate from the post of Director (topmost post of the cadre);
